We are looking for an experienced, creative and talented Bid Manager to join our team.

What will I do in the role?

Reporting to our BDM the Bid Manager is responsible for taking ownership of our RFP and bid submissions. The role will involve managing our bid processes by working closely with key stakeholders within our organisation to ensure bid deadlines are met and the content and quality of our submissions are of the very highest standard. The ideal candidate will enjoy writing and possess a creative flair for compiling great looking documents and compelling propositions. A keen eye for detail and a desire to exceed client expectations by ensuring we only dispatch documents of the very highest standard will be key to the role.

  • Experience in bid writing
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • A flair for the written word and therefore the ability to write compelling content
  • Ability to create visually appealing high quality documents, in Word, PowerPoint and/or other programs
  • Understand client strategy
  • Intelligent with the ability to understand customer challenges & develop solutions to overcome them
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply best practice across multiple industries
  • Understanding of commercial aspects of bidding
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Process management skills to support transition to operations or in change situations
  • Ability to review and improve written bid submissions
  • Confident dealing with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday, 09.00 to 17.30
  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week, although flexibility will be required on occasion
