Job description

We are urgently recruiting and need to hire in the region of 100 people to support an existing in-house team of 70 staff for a project starting this week.


The role is for an initial period of 6 weeks but could go on for much longer and will likely be working from home, although at this stage we may also have staff working from our offices in central Southend on Sea. If working from home it would be advantageous if you have a computer or laptop, and a must that you have a strong wi-fi signal – technical specifications and homeworking criteria will be provided in more detail to applicants progressing to interview stage.

    Requirements

    If you have good communication skills, have the ability to support people who may be in distress and can do so in a calm, measured, sympathetic and professional manner, then we’d like to speak to you now.


    This is a phone-based role so ideally would suit people with a background in customer service.


    You will also need to successfully pass a standard DBS check.  


    Working Hours

    • The department will be open on a 24/7 basis with various shift patterns available, core day shifts will be between 8:00am and 8:00pm, Evening/Night Shifts will run between 8:00pm and 8:00am.
    • Ideally, you will work full time - 40 hours per week on a rota basis

    As this is a home-based role we are open to any applicants across the UK. 


    We are offering competitive rates of pay, with an enhanced rate for unsociable hours.
